At The Connection Church, we are passionate about sharing God’s truth and love with our community. We stand firm on the Word of God and believe it to be the ultimate guide for faith and life. Our beliefs shape everything we do, from worship to outreach, as we strive to live out our mission of reaching the unchurched and helping others grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep. My Sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

MISSION – VISION
Loving People to Life
To Be the Body of Jesus Christ in this society and world today.
To point all people to Jesus Christ, the Savior and Lord for all who choose to follow Him.
To replace fear in people’s lives with Faith in Jesus Christ, the author of Scripture.
To practice Faith both locally and beyond.
To train a new generation of Christian leaders who will advance the Kingdom of God beyond us.
To build a church body that will always love each other, grow, give, and reproduce.
If you look carefully at the picture, it is a cave with light coming in from the top. But take away the light, and the cave is enveloped in darkness. It is our Mission to shine the light of Jesus Christ into an increasingly dark world.

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD TRANSFORMS
We believe Jesus Christ is God’s one and only Son. His death and resurrection is the only atonement for sin. An experience with Jesus Christ leads to a changed life. Love, integrity, respect, morality, faith, encouragement and truth are character traits we live by.
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS COMMISSIONED US
By word, example, and effort to lead people to Jesus. To help Members grow into passionate adherents to the principles and practices of Jesus.
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD CREATES AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS
All consuming relationship with God the Father; Christ motivated relationships with non-believers; Spirit led relationship with believers, keeping each other accountable to Scripture.
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD’S LOVE IS POWERFUL
People are loved by God and by the church. Sin is destructive to people and is to be repented. Intolerance of sin does not mean rejection of the repentant or seeker.
WE BELIEVE THAT REPUTATION IS IMPORTANT
We are committed to excellence. To be known for what we are for, rather than what we are against.
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS CALLED UPON EACH OF US
Each Christian is called and equipped by the Holy Spirit to be disciples who administer God’s grace to others. There is no higher calling than serving God and his people.

The Connection Church is a founding member of Friends Church of North Carolina (FCNC), which is an Association of churches in North Carolina solidly committed to the Risen Lord Jesus Christ.
